Koi Pond Filter

Automatic electronic koi pond feeder for outdoors use. This feeder has its own internal feeding electronics timer that can be triggered by just about any type of external remote timing device. The supplied 12Vac INDOOR type power adapter (style may vary) can be used, or any programmable timing device with 9 to 24 volts ac or dc output can be used to trigger and power it such as a sprinkler timer or outdoors lights timer with 12 volts output. If the supplied power adapter will be exposed to rain, an outdoor approved power supply is also optionally available from Super Feed. A 12V battery can also be used with a programmable 12 vdc timer if normal power is not available, also optionally available from Super Feed. The length of time the feeder feeds is totally independent of the length of time the remote programmable timer is on. Each Super Feeder also has a "volume" adjustment to compensate for the size of food. NOTE: This "basic" KSF-2 holds 4 and 3/4 cups of pellets. Its capacity can be increased by either purchasing the KSF-2XL or purchasing the optional 1.5 gallon hopper (24 cups) which stacks on top of the basic KSF-2. Additional 2-cup clear extensions can also be purchased. Once again, The supplied power adapter is indoor type and must be kept out of the weather. Of course, the timer you will use will also need to be indoor or outdoor type for your application. Super Feed also stocks those items.

Product Features

• Feeds from a fraction of a cup to several cups of pellets per day. Size is 7 1/4" x 3" x 11 3/4 inches tall. With a 1.5 gallon hopper installed, it's 12" wide at its widest point x 3 inches deep x 21" tall.
• Ready to be mounted to 2x4, 4x4, pipe or hung with supplied hardware. ASSEMBLY WILL BE REQUIRED! YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE YOUR OWN MOUNT WITH PIPE OR WOOD OVER YOUR POND! IT IS NOT DESIGNED TO BE "FREE-STANDING!"
• YOU WILL NEED TO PRIVIDE YOUR OWN REMOTE TIMER AND WIRE TO REACH YOUR FEEDER! You may use any programmable timer (like a lamp timer) with the supplied power adapter to trigger feeder's electronic feed system at desired times. If you cannot keep the supplied indoor type power adapter out of the weather, you will need to purchase an outdoor power adapter which can be purchased later from Super-Feed.
• Expendable capacity with optional 1.5 gallon hopper (stackable) available only from Super-Feed. Or, the KSF-2XL comes with the large hopper.
• Use with practically any home automation system, sprinkler timer, outdoor lights timer, etc...Important Super Feeder feature: ALL parts in this feeder can be quickly, economically and easily repaired or replaced without disposal or replacement of the entire feeder.
